About Us
It all began in a two-car garage on Maple Street in the little town of Cedarville, Ohio. What started out as a hobby gradually grew into a full-time operation — Maple Street Woodworking — and we have been creating high-quality, solid wood furniture for satisfied customers since 2016. We moved to the Lehigh Valley in 2020, making some great new connections in the area. And in February 2021, we opened a retail lumber store, MSW Hardwood Lumber, in Hellertown.
We specialize in custom orders for nearly anything, including kitchen cabinets and islands, bathroom vanities, bedroom sets, dining tables, benches, coffee and end tables, entertainment centers, and more. We operate on three main principles: Quality, Creativity, and Craftsmanship.
Phil Kochsmeier is the craftsman behind Maple Street Woodworking. He is a talented, self-taught, driven business owner who takes great pride in his work, recognizing that his talents and abilities have been entrusted to him by his Creator. Phil lives with his wife, Becca, and their three children. When he is not in the wood shop, Phil enjoys spending time fishing, playing golf, and relaxing with family.
